I use AI at work

Keep using AI. Know what to expect.

Your firm uses Agent Task Lock so AI can help with client work. Here's what changes in your day, and what to do when AI asks for something.

The steps

Step by step,
and what you get.

Each step says what you do, what you see and what you get.

See a whole AI job →
  1. 1

Use AI the way you do now

    You do
    Keep using your AI tools.
    You see
Nothing new most of the time.
    You get
    No new habits to learn.
  2. 2

AI asks for a client file

    You do
    Read the short question.
    You see
Which file, which job, and whether AI wants to read it or change it.
    You get
You or your boss decides. A no is fine.
  3. 3

    You hand AI a job

    You do
Ask for the work in plain words, like you'd ask a person.
    You see
AI working on a copy of the folder.
    You get
The real files don't change until someone says yes.
  4. 4

You paste client text into an AI website

    You do
    Paste as usual.
    You see
A warning first, if the text belongs to a client.
    You get
A chance to stop before it's sent. You can still send it, and that's noted.
  5. 5

    Take the short training

    You do
Read a few short lessons and take the quiz.
    You see
"Done" next to your name, and the firm's AI policy to sign.
    You get
Your firm can show you were trained.

FAQ

Questions
staff ask.

Short answers.

All questions →
Will this slow me down?

Most of the time you won't notice it. You only see a question when AI wants a file your firm wants to OK first.

Does my boss read my AI chats?

No. The record lists what AI asked for and what was decided, not what you typed.

What if I send something anyway?

You can. The warning is there to give you a moment. Your choice is noted.

Which AI tools does it work with?

Claude Code and Codex CLI for jobs. Gemini CLI and Copilot CLI are also watched. More tools are coming.
